Statistics)
The Office of National Statistics is developing a Household Satellite
Account (HHSA) which will measure and value the outputs produced by
households (domestic work) in the United Kingdom. This talk will
summarise the principals behind the HHSA before concentrating on one of
the functions (voluntary activity) that make up the Account. The
voluntary activity project is of particular interest due to definitional
problems, the various surveys that exist, and the politically sensitive
nature of the subject.
All Welcome
There is no charge for this meeting.
