Quintin Hogg Research Scholarships
10 new Quintin Hogg Research Scholarships have been established by the
University. Applications are invited for these scholarships, which may be
held in any of the University’s Schools, from candidates wishing to study
full-time for a PhD. Applicants should hold, or expect to obtain, at least a
2:1 or 1st class honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
The scholarships are for full-time study for a maximum of 3 years, and are
tenable from 1 September 2001. The value of each scholarship is £9,000
annual bursary for maintenance plus the home rate tuition fee. Applications
are welcome from all nationalities, but non-UK nationals will be expected to
contribute the difference between the home and overseas student fee.
Accommodation in the university’s Halls of Residence may be available.
