NEW FACULTY POSITIONS IN STATISTICS, APPLIED PROBABILITY, MATHEMATICAL
FINANCE AT UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT SANTA BARBARA
The Department of Statistics and Applied Probability invites applications
for two positions starting July 1 2002. One position is open level
(appointment possible at any rank) and the other is Assistant Professor
level, tenure track. Specializations in Statistics, Mathematical Finance,
and Applied Probability will be considered. Applicants must have a Ph.D.
in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field and an
outstanding research and teaching record for appointment with tenure, or
demonstrated interest and ability to achieve such a record for a tenure
track appointment. Successful candidates will be expected to teach at both
the undergraduate and graduate levels.
