We have had the same problem here; we successfully installed the software
onto a PC that had last year's programme already installed on it but it
wouldn't install onto a new PC. Apparently, there is a problem with DCOM in
this year's programme; therefore, we installed DCOM from last year's
software (luckily we had retained the CD) onto the new PC first and it then
accepted this year's software. Hope this makes sense as I'm not a computer
person but it may, at least, provide a clue!
