I have, today, been told categorically that NO extension is to be granted and
that the DfES is to blame for misleading us all and not publishing updates to
their erroneous information regarding the timescales for reports reaching
us!! I was also told that we cause most of the problems by our inconsistent
use of paper-based or disk returns and that the timescales have not been
reduced because the SLC commenced printing a week earlier than in the past.
Any late return (even one day) could (but not necessarily would) affect the
payment date.
So - Merry Christmas to one and all!
