The Regional Transcription Centre at APU has developed a
revolutionary
tactile printing machine. The machine employs a process that
provides
the direct printing of Tactile Diagrams, Maps, Braille, Moon and
Text
under computer control.
We can now provide printing with control over depth of a character
as
well as its font size. We can print tactile diagrams, Braille / Moon,
raised texture coded lines and areas.
We can print on Plastics, Metals, and Paper. Unlike thermoform or
embossed techniques, this process uses robust polymer inks
providing
highly durable diagrams, signs and notices.
Visit our WEB site to see examples of the work produced.
