Hi Gareth,
while i was investigating bollards / barriers etc that could be controlled
by swipe-card i came across a company producing devices that are set either
in or on tarmac in car parks and give an audible warning when cars are
parked illegally / inappropriately - the devices are flush with the surface
(or almost) and could be set in the road surface just as easily i would have
thought - i will dig details out of my filing cabinet when i get a minute -
is this the sort of thing you had in mind
