Hi Adrian
yes I caught most of the trike wheelchair conversion bit. The add on part
seems good if it is reasonably priced since it means you only need to take
that plus a manual chair. Also since the unit and manual chair fold down
into a more compact space than a power scooter it could prove useful when
travelling. Also I though it may be handy for exhibition and events since
they could have some to loan out to people who come with a manual chair and
would have liked a power scooter to get around the exhibition. Down sides
would be how long the battery really lasts, the slope it will go up is a one
in nine so ok, but does not sound that powerful. it did tip over but that
was cornering up a steep slope. the other thing I wondered is if it tips
your chair up to get the front wheels off the deck how does that effect the
centre of gravity? If a heavier person revs it up and leans back will they
start to pull a wheelie, although since it is front wheel drive guess it
would not last long.
