not sure what the best approach is but would have thought that it needed to
be a rotary type line so that it could be turned around to get at the
washing whilst the person remained still and would take up less space than a
linear line, but would need to be well positioned and warnings for people
with limited vision or who are blind. I thought I once saw one that had a
large turning handle on it to allow it to be raised or lowered but perhaps I
dreamt that. I know Hills Industries used to produce rotary clothes driers
but whether they are still in business and make anything suitable. It is a
good question and worth further thought.
