The British Institute of Occupational Hygienists
*** Occupational Health - Successfully Working Together ***
The Future of the Occupational Hygiene Profession in the UK
to be held at
Society of Chemical Industry 14/15 Belgrave Square
London SW1X 8PS
On 13 June 2001
If you work in the Occupational Health field, you will almost certainly
be aware that the workplace and the way it uses its occupational
hygienists is changing. Someone you know has probably lost their job as
a multinational has down sized its occupational hygiene team or a
consultancy has gone bust. New health concerns are coming to the fore,
but we must not forget that people are still being made ill by exposure
to chemical or physical agents.
We need to maintain a dynamic occupational hygiene profession to respond
to these changes. This conference explores some of the challenges facing
the profession and explains initiatives BIOH is involved in to protect
and strengthen their future.
**** These are issues you cannot afford to ignore! ****
