Sue,
You would be welcome to come to talk to my MSc students (a mixture of H&S
Advisors, OHNs, and enforcement officers - some in large organisations in
the sectors that you list) about your project. You may find that you can
recruit a number to your cause.
There are a number of similar and related courses around the country whom
you might also approach: some of their programme directors are members of
this list.
Best Wishes
Kevin

Subject: Mental health in the workplace
The Department of Human Sciences at Loughborough University is conducting a
study (funded by the HSE) looking at the ways that anxiety and depression
influence working life and how the medication used to treat these symptoms
may influence performance at work. The purpose of this project is to
understand the impact of anxiety and depression and to inform the
development of guidelines for employers to help them support employees who
have experienced anxiety and depression.
We are looking for occupational health and occupational safety and health
staff in the CONSTRUCTION, EDUCATION, HEALTH, MANUFACTURING and TRANSPORT
sectors to participate in focus groups to discuss the organisational
perspectives on the mental health of employees.
Volunteers and those interested in further information about the project
