I wouldn't have thought so but there again I suppose it may be possible. I
expect that most of the population are exposed to traffic noise - especially
down King St in Aberdeen which I always thought was particularly noisy but
the EHO assured me it was no worse than others.
Are they wearing hearing protection, if so what type and could the provision
(or lack of) be accountable?.
This should make an excellent discussion round the Christmas dinner table.
Seasons Greetings to All.

Subject: Waxy Ears!
I have been speaking to a local practice nurse recently who informed me that
she has seen a lot of my workers for ear syringing. I have a lot of outside
workers who are exposed to traffic noise (not over the 1st action level I am
told by the Safety Dept.) and dust. She attributes this large number of my
workers that she has seen to the dust in the atmosphere mixing with the ear
wax and then not coming out in the usual way.
Ideas anyone??
Compliments of the season to you all!!
Regards,
