Apologies for cross posting
Grampian Information is a Library and Information Plan (LIP) operating in
the North East of Scotland which has a wide membership of information
professionals who work in the Grampian area. We are seeking speakers for
our forthcoming one-day conference on 16 November 2001 on the theme of "The
Changing Role of the Information Professional". Whilst open to
interpretation, particular aspects may include the impact of new technology,
political and economic change. Case study based papers would also be
welcome. Speakers are invited to give papers in a 40 minute presentation to
an audience of information professionals drawn from all sectors.
Those interested in giving a paper should submit a 500 word abstract of
their proposed paper to Alison Morton, Grampian Information Development
Officer at 11 Richmondhill Road Aberdeen AB15 5EQ (e-mail
[log in to unmask] co.uk) by Wednesday 27 June. Papers will be reviewed by
a panel drawn from Grampian Information Executive Committee.
If you require any further information, please contact Alison Morton on
01224 316445 or by e-mail.
