The following hard-rock and related PhD topics have been proposed for
the coming research student intake in October 2001. A number of
studentships will be available and the competition will be based on
which project attracts the best-qualified applicants.

Please note that CEESR cannot offer full fee support for overseas
(non-EU) students directly. It is possible to apply for funding to
bridge the gap between home/EU and overseas tuition fees.
Nevertheless, non-EU students should try to secure separate funding
from sources in their own countries.
