This issue has also been raised at Hull. There is this uncertainty that anemail is delivered properly, which makes staff insecure about using email in
Bb. If a student does not have a valid email address, Bb says it was posted
OK but once it gets to the mail servers you know it won't get through. I
wonder if anyone knows whether Bb have any plans to try to resolve this?
However, as part of ongoing discussion at Hull there is the argument that Bb
cannot be expected to be a fully blown email client, yet some have argued
that if communication is a core feature of a V/MLE then surely the email
option must work effectively. What do other people think?

Paul

Help!
I don't suppose anyone has managed to tweak mail so that people do actually
see who is copied, rather than the invisible recipients problem....?? Any
offers (see below) gratefully received.
Thanks.

Subject: warning letters and emails to students
Hi again,
I frequently use DUO to send out warning letters, but when I get my
copy it doesn't include the names of students. Is there any way this
can be fixed please? I attached the message I've just received from
my Head of Department to show you my problem.
Thanks,
James
