Hi Mike,
OK then have a cross posted reply. I want to see how many people from
admin-planning and admin-rae2001 will send me messages telling me they are on
holiday. WHO CARES YOU ARE ON HOLIDAY :-)
Not being a true HESA person to understand the esoterics of HESA they do ask
for a guesstimate on some of the points you raise.
Those in post and not-selected I am afraid there is little choice, they are
on RA0 so they must be returned on the units they were declared on RA0. Put
it differently those figures can be summed up and differences found.
Those not in-post on 31 March (leavers or incomers) you can do your best
guesstimate ... what difference does it make anyway ? (or am I missing
something).
We too however have a similar problem to yours, ie. all staff from a number
of depts being thrown in the hat up and then slotted into a number of UoAs.
We intend to do the best we can in linking them to the correct UoAs. If we
leave too many unlinked I believe HESA will come back wanting more info.
Wait and see.
So basically, we intend to comply as best as we can.
:-)
Charles
