Anna
In connection with Frank's response:
Also ensure that your student record system can record
different deliveries of the same module where they are
delivered by other departments. In such cases, is there a
"royalty" payable to the department which developed the
module if they don't do the delivery?
ALSO
Are you proposing to allocate funding on the basis of
current year or previous year enrolments? Each has its
merits.
Always ensure that money distributed does not exceed income
received. (e.g. student taking an optional additional
module such as language skills or IT skills which we try to
encourage but levy no extra charge for)
Data accuracy is critical as you suggest.
Can anyone afford to dump a modular system once started?
Look forward to answers on that one, Anna. Has anyone
actually costed out how much it has cost their Uni to
implement; frightening!
Regards
Maurice
