In case you hadn't noticed, the discussants fall into two categories:
1. Everything that isn't officially allowed (as university work) is forbidden.
2. Everything that isn't' prohibited (by law or JANET) is allowed.
East Germany ran on principle 1. Most of the USA on principle 2.
Which was the more successful economy? Which generated more
innovation and creativity?
Alternatively compare accountancy companies with Silicon Valley
and ask the same questions.
