Temporary (two year) Lectureship in Russian (Ref: 3149)
Salary: £20,267 - £32,215 per annum, according to qualifications and
experience
Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Russian, made possible by
funding from the ESRC (Research Fellowship to a member of the Surrey
Morphology Group). This two-year post will involve teaching Russian at
various levels, including ab initio language, and some examining,
administrative and pastoral responsibilities. There will be the opportunity
to carry out research within the Surrey Morphology Group. The appointment
is intended to provide the chance for an appropriate candidate to develop
his or her career within a strong Russian section.
Candidates should have an excellent knowledge of Russian, both active and
conceptual. Expertise in typology or morphological theory would be
advantageous.
