Disagree on truck/lorry: A lorry is British for what Australians call a truck
but for which Americans have no decent word, just heavy commercial vehicle or
commercial vehicle or large truck. In American usage 'truck' covers l'il
pickups (called utilities or 'utes' but never truck in Australia or lorry in
UK, I think). Other differences are term carriageway/roadway,
tailback/backup, emergency lane/breakdown shoulder, witches hat/cone. Then
there are the differently spelled words kerb/curb.
