With it being the anniversary today and all this talk
of black coffee, isn't there a discussion to be had
regarding what can't be said in poetry,
I was thinking about Adorno's directive about lyric
poetry what about comic poems. Certainly comic poems
about the holocaust would at the very least end up
ironic,if were not to appear so crass that it wouldn't
be readable(isn't there a film called life is
beautiful that has a comic take on the ghettos?). Are
there any other subjects that can't be written about
and not only for moral reasons, but the subject
somehow won't allow it?
