Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) wish to recruit an
Occupational Physician to lead the Occupational Health Team within the
Health, Safety & Environment Division.
The Occupational Physician will report to the HSE Manager and be based in
the Headquarters Building in Abu Dhabi. He will be responsible for the
Senior Occupational Nurse and Occupational Hygienist and will clinically
supervise the Physicians and Medics based offshore on the oil production
platforms.
The work includes the management of occupational health risks, emergency
response, topside cover and pre-employment and periodic medical examination
of employees. ADMA-OPCO is already certified to the ISO14001 standard for
Environmental Management Systems. The company is striving to achieve
OHSAS18001 certification for our Occupational Health and Safety Management
System. The Occupational Physician will have a key role to play in
reaching this goal.
ADMA-OPCO are looking for an individual who is a specialist with a post
graduate qualification in Occupational Medicine. They should have good
command of the English language, be male and below 45 years old and be able
to meet the requirements of the Offshore Fitness Standard. Experience in
the Oil Industry would be an advantage.
Remuneration includes: Negotiable salary, accommodation in Abu Dhabi, one
return flight per year to country of origin for employee & dependants and

ADMA-OPCO is the major offshore oil production company in the United Arab
Emirates and is part of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Group.
Production is from two oil fields with three platforms having a total
population of over four hundred personnel. In addition the company
operates a jack-up maintenance barge and has ten drilling rigs on contract
for drilling and work over. The company's Oil Loading Terminal is based on
Das Island in the Arabian Gulf. This has a population of between three and
four thousand staff.
