There was a touring show last year in Germany, South America and
Switzerland called Poesis (www.p0es1s.com) which directly addressed the
poetics of new media and particularly the net. Included work by Eduardo
Kac, Jim Rosenberg, Augusto de Campos, Giselle Beiguelman, Exonemo, Susanne
Berkenheger, Florian Cramer, André Vallias, Takaumi Furuhashi, Guido
Grigat, Mark Amerika and Simon Biggs. There was an associated conference
for its Kassel showing and a catalogue, which I am sure you can get from
the website. This year, as last, there is the FILE event in Sao Paulo,
dealing with online poetics and electronic literature (www.file.org.br).
