Sales Account Manager
Due to the continued market growth and expansion of ESRI's GI systems ESRI
(UK) is seeking additional Sales people to complement our existing Central
Government sales team. This strategic and challenging role will suit
individuals keen to work with the market leader in a rapidly expanding
market place.The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying
and maintaining key business relationships with UK central government
organisations. You will be required to proactively identify opportunities;
develop and deliver effective presentations highlighting the benefits of
enterprise-wide use of geographic analysis using ESRI's market leading
technology as required by individual accounts. This will be backed up by a
track record of being able to close opportunities effectively.The package
on offer will be commensurate with the importance of the position and the
experience demonstrated by the candidates.
Qualifications:
• Candidates will need to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years successful
selling experience in a software-driven company
• Detailed knowledge of geographic information systems is not essential but
is desirable, more important is a sound technical understanding of the
benefits of GIS, related internet applications and associated IT
consultancy services.
• The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate considerable success
in selling both software product and services into major account
environments.
• Excellent executive-level presentation skills with the ability to create
both a need and urgency within senior management are essential attributes.
