LANCASTER UNIVERSITY – DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY
SPATIAL INFORMATION SUPPORT OFFICER
This is a permanent post providing support for research and teaching in GIS
and Remote Sensing in a busy Geography department. Applicants must have a
relevant first degree and postgraduate qualification (for instance an MSc
in GIS), experience of a range of GIS and Remote Sensing applications, and
be capable of communicating effectively with staff and students. The post
will include providing assistance with research projects, assisting in the
preparation and delivery of teaching materials, and taking responsibility
for day-to-day management of the GIS laboratory. Further information and
