As well as Vivianne's suggestion of the digest form you can set up a
separate folder for the incoming messages from this list. They pop straight
in there and don't disturb your main intray.

For anyone who'd like to try it her's what you do (it looks lengthy but
that's because my instructions go in nice simple steps) It's a procedure
well worth doing. You can also separate your mail into other folders like
personal, work etc.

In Outlook (Express)

First, click Inbox in the left pane. Click File (top left corner) then right
at the top New ....then Folder on the slide out box.
Another dialogue opens. Name your new folder in the box where the cursor is
flickering waiting for you (eg FT List). Click OK.
You should see your folder appear under Inbox, just like in Explorer.
Now:
Tools (top toolbar) then Message Rules.
Click Mail on the box that slides out.
In the Message Rules box check you're on the Mail tab, then click New on the
right.
Another box opens, where you put in the info to direct mail to your new
folder. It has 4 parts.
Top part click the little square beside "Where the To line contains people"
2nd part click the little square beside "Copy it to the specified folder"
Ignore the 3rd
Name your Rule FT List
Click OK.
You're back at the Message Rules box and there'll be a ticked box beside the
name you chose eg FT List, in the top pane.
At this point you might like to come out of Message Rules fetch the email
address of the List, unless you've got it written or memorised. So copy
[log in to unmask] (highlight, then Ctrl +C)
and reopen Message Rules (Tools, Message Rules, ... Mail)
In the bottom box beside Where the To line contains people - click 'people'.
Paste [log in to unmask] into the top bit of the new box that
arrives, click Add, then OK.
Finally back in Message Rules, in the bottom box where it says Copy it to
the specified folder - click 'folder'. Click Inbox to open it up if
necessary, click your named folder eg FT List, click Add ... and OK.

That's it. Bit longwinded but VERY useful
Now your List messages jump meekly into their own folder whenever you get
email and you can check them once a day or every 2 or 3 days or however
often you wish without being disturbed by them at other times.
To open, just click or double click on Inbox on the left if you can't see
the folder, then click/ double click the folder itself
 OR click once then File (top left on toolbar) then Open.
