a bit ago I sent out an email about Fred Krupp of environmental
defense and making comments to the EPA transtition team. In the
email Krupp says,
"One of the reasons I accepted this invitation is that I wanted to
> make sure that the concerns of the full range of environmental
> groups were put before Governor Whitman. I am therefore
> particularly concerned that your views on the critical challenges
> still remaining be included in her briefing materials. "
I just checked ED's website, http://www.environmentaldefense.org/
for any mention of the EPA transition comments. No links on the
homepage and search using "EPA transition" brought up zip.
Then I checked ED's Action Network,
http://www.environmentaldefense.org/ and again - zip.
One would think that if Krupp really wanted input, he would have
spread the message far and wide.
Many of you on this list are members of environmental groups.
Have you been notified about making these comments (except the
email I sent earlier)? Have there been any "action alerts" from ED
or their "action network" on this topic? Seen it on a web page? I'd
like to hear from you one way or the other.
Thnx
Mike
