Poachers aren't the starving segment of the population. Of course we all
spend some of our money on food, as do poachers, no doubt; but your
implication that the extermination of elephants is making a positive dent in
African starvation is absurd. I had thought it wasn't worth mentioning;
apparently I was in error. Let's try to keep the discussion on the relevant
issues, not red herrings.
