Dear eng-geotech mailbase readers
You or your colleagues may wish to take advantage of the following:
The part time modular MSc programme in Geotechnical/Construction Engineering
Design and Management has been running successfully at Nottingham Trent
University since 1996. Details of the current course and modules available
may be found at:-
http://construction.ntu.ac.uk/graduate_school/postgrad/courses/Geotechnical_
Engineering_Design_and_Management.asp
Module delivery is normally over 2 weekends to minimise absence from the
workplace.
The good news is that we have secured funding under the Objective 3
programme of the European Social Fund to provide up to 20 fully supported
(free!) places to suitably qualified delegates on the modular MSc course.
Priority will be given to East Midlands based applicants but others in the
UK may also be eligible.
There are a limited number of the free places available on the forthcoming
Earthworks and Slopes module (28/29 April and 12/13 May 2001), and on the
Temporary Works module (16/17 June, 30 June/1 July 2001).
A full programme of modules available for 2001/2002 will be issued to those
expressing interest. (The MSc course structure is to be modified from Sept
2001 with the existing 10 modules replaced by 8 'larger' modules together
with the work related dissertation/project.)
If you are interested please contact me, by email or phone, giving full
contact details (address, Tel and email) and we will provide further
information and an application form.
Thank you for your interest
