Dear ECS-students,
as you know, the ECS conference in Rome is starting this weekend!
There will be a BOARD MEETING, in which I can bring up student matters
to the ECS-board.
If anybody of you has any comments or suggestions to the ECS-board, this
is the time to send those to me.
PLEASE do this as soon as possible - or talk to me on Sunday, 6th in
Rome before 8pm. I'll be in the student workshop and at the reception. I
appreciate any comment.
We'll also have our ANNUAL STUDENT MEETING (ASM), most probably on
Tuesday, 8th! Please keep your eyes and ears open (e.g. message board)
for the exact time & date. I would be very happy if a lot of you would
attend this meeting - it's open to any student, so please come and
join!!! If you have any suggestions on what to discuss please write to
me or bring it up at the meeting. Those who are not attending the
conference are welcome to send suggestions either!
For the ECS-student web pages I would like to ask you to send me (or
bring it to the ASM):
- addresses/ information/ comments on volunteer positions, courses or
similar in marine mammal science
- the questionnaire (information about you as ECS-student, your
interests and projects). The questionnaire was included in the last mail
sent around from the ECS. If you didn't get it, please send me a request
for it.
- information about other email-lists than e.g. MARMAM & ECS-all/news,
which would be interesting for ECS members.
Here is the AGENDA of the ASM:

start thinking about comments & suggestions for our meeting ;o) )
