Dear all
I'm a grad student at LSE and am currently doing research into homosexuality
and religion within the Afro-Caribbean community in London. More
specifically, I'm looking at how (Black/Afro-Caribbean/other ethnic
minority) lesbians and gay men renegotiate the boundaries and definitions of
their religious identity to include a positive valuation of homosexuality.
Can anyone suggest any recent work done among gay Christians within these
communities? or does anyone know of any gay/lesbian Christian groups (or
individuals) who would be willing to talk with me and/or allow me to conduct
fieldwork among them? Secondly, does anyone know if any such groups are
active in the English-speaking Caribbean?
Thanks
