The Labour MP for Shrewsbury, Paul Marsden, has defected from his party to
the LibDems over the Afghan War and the Anti-Terrorism Bill. He mentioned
particularly the intimidation that was going on in the party. Typically, New
Labour described his sense of being threatened as 'imaginary' and his
defection as 'just a one off'.
I would that certain poets had his integrity, otherwise we'll all end up
expected to write the praises of G Dubya.
In sub-Kiplingesque verses.
