Randolph said about Chris's draft - "I like this. Not sure though if what
I'm doing when reading it accords with your intentions"
I think you're on the right lines Randolph. When i heard/saw Chris read, he
had a quick, assured delivery, with a kind of fruity bass tone...to do with
his up north accent.
I was interested in something Chris said in his prelim when he read.
Something about some people who knew his previous stuff might be suprised
with the stuff he was about to read. And something i think about it being a
consciously new approach to his work. I think i know what he means, but not
for sure cos i haven't seen any of his earlier pieces.
I like that draft too, i wonder chris if you could send an earlier 1 in, or
elaborate/put me straight on what you meant in your prelim. or not.
i wrote something in the pub last night which maybe shares shares something
with Chris's draft
