chris,
do you think the Bb site is going to dilute the value of this jisc-mail list?
wouldn't it be good if Bb could serve both purposes?
it is frustrating that Bb doesn't support email discussions
have you ever used/joined e-groups (now yahoo groups)?
- it lets your email discussions (archives) sit alongside documents and links
etc...
you can select to read and post online if you wish... and quite a few other
flexible options
all-owner,
are these jisc-mail postings archived?
i am trying to find an old post that mentioned querying the database - I am
looking for a way to extract Instructors and Teaching Assistant's names and
emails etc. - this would seem to be an obvious requirement - and could be added
to the advanced search (users of X type) - i remember someone pointing out that
you shouldn't do this really (in terms of the license) - but what they heck -
just cause I know how doesn't mean I'm gonna do it ;)
any ideas?

I see Chris - much to draconian for us.
Not only do we not have the information about our users, but as our staff and
students can create their own accounts it wouldn't work really :)
