Registration forms are rolling in for the upcoming August 16-17
satellite meeting in Boston that will bring together an international
group of art librarians and visual resource curators to discuss the
theme: "How do I find a picture of ...? : The Changing Nature of Image
Research".
We have organized an exciting two days of lectures, presentations and
tours. Information about the meeting can be found on our website:
http://www.library.yale.edu/arlis-ifla-2001/
Here you will find the program listing, tour descriptions, registration
form, and housing recommendations and transportation information.
NOTE: The registration deadline has been extended to July 15. All
registration forms must be postmarked by that date. Payment is accepted
in U.S. dollars by checks drawn from U.S. banks. Because of the high
fees charged for processing foreign checks we request that all others
bring cash to the satellite meeting registration desk at the Boston
Architectural Center from 12:30-15.00 on Thursday 16 August, or from
8:30-9:30 at the Museum of Fine Arts on Friday 17 August.
In the next few weeks we will be sending out "promotional" messages
giving additional information about the tours and programs. We look
forward to seeing many of you in Boston later this summer. If you have
questions about the meeting please contact me directly.
