Last I heard was a debate about which letters to use, if any. Nothing
definite. And some people saying they objected to letters anyway.

Now in my personal capacity
Miriam, Nigel and everyone else
I am almost convinced that the information about RMSOA has been in the
SoA
Newsletter. I am 99% convinced that it has been covered at a London
Region
meeting, presumably via a report on the business of Council or the
relevant
sub-committee.
As people seem to be in feisty form at the moment, could I join in with
the
I hope not too controversial comment that information such as this is
or
should be made available at regional meetings of the Society, and it
behoves
all of us who are members to attempt to attend these meetings to get
this
information. At least occasionally. And certainly to actually read
the
regional mailings. And if not, not to say 'why wasn't I told?' too
often.
These are not meant to be personal comments re Miriam and Nigel of
course.
I declare an interest as I used to be a Regional Secretary, but I
think
London colleagues will agree that meetings can also be fun.
We have been here before on the list, so I'll shut up now.
