ARC EPIDEMIOLOGY UNIT
RESEARCH STATISTICIAN (REF: 500/01)
As part of a small team, you will be required to actively participate
in the design and analysis of new and ongoing studies that will
investigate the genetic basis of a number of complex
arthritic diseases. Your specific role will be to provide high level
advice on study design, choice of analysis package and assistance
with interpretation of findings. You should have a higher degree in
a relevant discipline and an interest in the genetic analysis
techniques used for complex diseases. Previous experience would be
an advantage. A stimulating and supportive multi-disciplinary
environment is offered together with the opportunity to work at the
leading edge in the growing field. An academic title may be sought
for this post.
The post is tenable for 5 years in the first instance with salary on
the Research Grade 1A/11 - £16,775 - £30,967 per annum.
