be held at the University of Derby from the evening of 25th March to
lunchtime on 27th March. Colleagues may wish to put this into their

until January time.
As in previous years, SROC will be a mix of plenary and workshop

enabling delegates view and discuss new software solutions.
Plenary sessions will include: Robin Sibson, newly installed Chief
Executive of HESA, who will talk on HESA in a changing environment,
Mike Fitzgerald, and Dr Christine Sexton, Director of CiCS, University of
Sheffield. There may be further plenaries which will be promulgated on
the SROC web-site.
A variety of workshops include: Benchmarking of the Student
Experience, Selection and Use of Report Writing software,
Integration of Nursing School records and practices.
When finalised, the full programme will be found on our web-site,
please note the new address of http://www.sroc.ac.uk/
Finally, the Conference Dinner will be held at the home of Derby
County FC, Pride Park, when delegates will be afforded the
opportunity to tour the ground and it's facilities.
Further details of the conference and booking forms will be circulated
in the New Year.
I look forward to welcoming you to Derby in March.
