Vine: call for papers: Information Security
VINE, published quarterly by LITC, at South Bank University London, is a
respected journal covering all IT applications in libraries and
information services. VINE's aim is to publish informative,
well-researched writing that will be of immediate practical use to its
busy, influential readership. Each issue is an overview of a
particular topic.
Topics for papers could be:
* Security culture
* Information policies
* Interface design
* Authentication / authorisation
* Reviews of implementation of relevant technologies: such as
smartcards,directories
* Privacy
* Implications of Data Protection Act
* Reviews of personal security devices e.g. personal firewalls
(including the justification for needing them)
* Library specific issues relating to information security
