Kencon Environmental and EnviroOne will sponsor two seminars:
ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY (Jan 29-30, 2001 / Philadelphia, PA)
and
APPLIED SOIL SCIENCE FOR LOW COST REMEDIATION OF CONTAMINATED SOILS AND GROUNDWATER (Jan 31 - Feb 2, 2001 / Philadelphia, PA)
The ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY seminar is designed to introduce environmental professionals to the major definitions and concepts of soil and groundwater chemistry as they pertain to environmental contamination and remediation. If you are an environmental professional such as Environmental Scientist/Engineer, Hydrologist/Hydrogeologist, Brownfields Coordinator, Project Manager, On-Site Coordinator, Environmental Lawyer, or Ecologist, you should attend this course.
The APPLIED SOIL SCIENCE FOR LOW COST REMEDIATION... seminar is a MUST for every professional involved with soil and groundwater cleanup. It is a variation of the highly successful seminar (Remedial Alternatives for Contaminated Soils...) by Dr. David Kargbo for Rutgers University. This intense 3-day seminar will cover all low cost remediation strategies with case studies and worked examples. Low cost strategies will be covered for soils and groundwater contaminated with chlorinated solvents including PCBs, pesticides, petroleum fuels, toxic metals, and explosives. Low cost remediation technologies for soils and groundwater contaminated with both organic chemicals and heavy metals will be addressed as well.
INSTRUCTORS for these seminars include: Dr. David Kargbo (US EPA); Dr. Don Sparks (University of Delaware); and Carl Mastropaolo (AccuScience Environmental). These experts have a wealth of experience in academia, research, consulting and the regulatory aspects of soils and groundwater remediation.
