After June 2001 will it be the case that anyone
wanting an A level must first pass AS and then take
A2?
If so, is it also true that a full A level will take 2
years?
If this is also true then all the mature students
throughout the UK who spend one year only, in evening
classes for example, taking English Lit, Business
Studies, Sociology etc etc will now have to take 2
years?
If all this is true then surely this new regime will
be very discriminating against mature students who,
owing to their work experience, do not NEED 2 years
for Economics and Business Studies?
And if all this is true, is the EBEA doing anything
about it by way of protesting to the Government
Educators?
Thank you and Happy Christmas!
