I would also be interested in articles relating to deafblindness and
disability studies.
I know of a few resources in regard to artists -
Sense Scotland run a arts organisation for deafblind people in Scotland
called SMART (http://www.sensescotland.org.uk/smart.htm).
Khaled Alvi is a talented artist currently working in the UK
(http://members.theglobe.com/KNA63/art/main.htm) who is deafblind and has
usher syndrome.
Art Through Touch (http://members.aol.com/ATTouch/) is a London based
organisation that has useful resources for visually impaired artists.

Subject: Deaf/Blind Artists
Greetings,
I was hoping someone out there could point me to the right direction. I am
looking for deaf/blind artist(s) to share with a talented artist who is in
high school and who has Usher Syndrome. I met this student earlier today
after my presentation to a group of deaf students about going to college
and having careers.
If you know of any articles related to deaf/blind in disability studies, I
would be interested. Thanks.
