An interesting topic,
Just reminded me as working in Equatorial Guinea here. The amount of folks going home to their GP with flu type indications and malaria is not thought of to investigate.
I now have a programe of issuing a card or letter for our folk to take home and carry.
PF Malaria is common and if not detected/treated swiftly is potentially high in mortality.
