UPDATE:
"SOUND AND THE MOVING IMAGE: VOICE, MUSIC, EFFECTS" (Continuum)
Further to our earlier alert call: a new international database has now been
established for the major three year international encyclopedia research and
development project, which will produce a comprehensive text on the use and
history of sound in film, TV and multi-media.
This is an updated call, alerting possible writers to the establishment of
the database, and is relevant to all persons with an interest in suggesting
topic areas, and/or who might be interested in writing on specific subjects,
and/or who have a strong research and/or practice based interest in this
field.
You are invited to email the [log in to unmask] site to register
your interests. Contacting of writers is likely to occur in the new year.
It is expected over 300 contributors will be involved in this project
worldwide and be drawn from a wide variety of subject specialisms relating
to
music, technology, multi-media, film, TV and broadcasting, and so on.
Anyone with an interest in the subject can leave their contact mail/numbers
and a list of their specialisms at this site address -- for inclusion on the
newly established "Sound and Moving Image" database.
