A colleague of mine who is retiring and has left a number of
(social policy) books which are surplus to her requirements. She
asked her colleagues and students to take any they may want. Now
this process is over we still have a number of books (circa
250-400- I have not counted) which we wish to give away.
Does any colleague know of any library or research institute who
would be interested in having these? Otherwise they will simply be
thrown away, which is, I hope you'll agree, a rather wasteful and
uncivilised way to proceed. I'd hope that they might go to a
library in CEE or Russia or some other similarly worthwhile place.
Please respond to me and not to the list.
Best
