The Exeter-London Workshops in the Philosophy of Social
Science
The London School of Economics and the University of Exeter
host two leading research centres in the philosophy of the
social sciences. Starting from this year, the Centres will
organise joint seminars and workshops to discuss core
issues in the field. The meetings will be attended by
participants from both institutions, including members of
staff, visitors, and research students. The workshops are
open to any one interested in the topics, but
pre-registration with one of the organisers is required in
order to allow the circulation of the reading material
prior to each meeting. The meetings for 2000-01 will focus
on problems of reference.
