Dear person,
I'm a Permissions (Copyright) Editor for an educational publisher in England
and have to find the title and source of a Rudyard Kipling poem for use in a
primary teaching book. I wonder if you could be so kind as to help me. The
poem starts "Legate, I had news last night - my Cohort ordered home". It's
about a Roman soldier who has lived in Britain for 40 years begging his
officer not to send him back to Rome which he knows not at all. I've
searched your and other websites without any luck for this poem.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks.
