Dear Anne-Marie,
Thank for your help, but I've been already on pacifictherapy.com. It was
very useful. I like AD and use it quite often with postural drainage, FET
and PEP.
To be really evidence-based I think that Postiaux needs more support from
other research though. Secondly I must say that we unfortunately don't use
auscultion on our ward (a pitty!).
Finally, I encounter (too) much diversity in my patientpopulation to be able
to work evidence-based (or is this a wrong connection?): good spiro, bad
spiro, much dyspnoe and less, thick, thin, easy to instruct, difficult to
instruct,.. AMI, cancer, epilepsy, you name it.
Isaac

Dear Maria,
As I told Isaac, there is some interesting work done in this field and in
Europe. Go to my website: www.pacifictherapy.com and read about Guy
Postiaux and his research. When you open the site click on "Chest PT guided
by auscultation" Good luck. Let me know what you think. Best regards.
Anne-Marie
