Passive stretching will have no impact on this contracture other than to
prevent it from worsening. To correct a contracture like this, serial
casting or a prolonged, maintained stretch is necessary. See Light, KE et
al. Low - load prolonged stretch vs high - load brief stretch in treating
knee contractures. Phys Ther 64: 330, 1984.
