Henry,
I have been treating a guy with a posterior dislocation of his left elbow
for a month or so. He now has nearly full range of motion but did have
markedly reduced ROM when he first presented. He is lacking less than 5
degrees extension and a little felxion also. I treated him with a lot of
contract/relax, reciprocal/relax stretches as when I tried to mobilise into
extension his biceps would spasm to prevent the movement. I also got him
exercising with theraband and in hydrotherapy classes which no doubt helped
a bit.
